Hawke's Bay cellars are full of bottles waiting for the right occasion — a vintage from a memorable cellar door visit, a gift from a winemaker friend, the one you've been saving for "someday." This winter, let someday be a Friday at Churchill's.
Bring the bottle. We'll have the right glassware ready, the right temperature waiting, and our team will look after the wine as carefully as we look after the food.
Our à la carte menu is built for Hawke's Bay wine — the Beef Wellington for the bold reds, the Fish of the Day for crisp whites, the Duck Liver Parfait for something with depth. The food is ours; the wine is yours; the evening belongs to both.
Tell us what you're bringing when you book. The more we know about your bottle, the better we can welcome it — and occasionally, that knowledge inspires us to do something a little extra at the table.
A few details
Winter Wine Nights run Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through June, July and August.
Corkage is $30 per bottle, with one bottle per two guests — so a table of four enjoys two bottles, a table of six enjoys three.
Two courses per guest from our à la carte menu — most of our guests enjoy three.
Winter Wine Nights are à la carte only — not available with packages, gift vouchers or other offers.
Please book ahead and let us know you're bringing a bottle — it helps us look after you (and your wine) properly.
Bottles must arrive sealed.
